Have you got any old sports shoes, shin guards or goalkeeping gloves that are now either unwanted or outgrown?
If so, we want them!
Brazilian Soccer Schools has been approached by a Cambodia-based charity called the Indochina Starfish Foundation (“ISF”) who, among other things, run soccer programmes for children in Cambodia. The children there have plenty of sports clothing – but are especially desperate for shoes, which is where our students come in!
If you have any old sports shoes (not just soccer boots!) that are in decent condition but are unwanted our outgrown, we’d be grateful if you could take them in to an upcoming lesson and had them over to one of our coaches. We are going to collect them all up and will send over regular batches throughout the year, so if you don’t have anything now remember us for the next time you are throwing any sports shoes away!
This is a great charity for us to link up with, as we are in a position to offer real help in very simple way.
We’re looking for any sports shoes that are in decent condition, as well as any other football gear such as shin guards or goalie gloves.
If you want to know more about Indochina Starfish Foundation they are a registered UK charity that have applied for charity registration in Hong Kong too. They have a website: http://www.indochinastarfish.org/index.htm
